I’ll never knock networking online, but there’s something about reaching a targeted, focused, engaged group of people face-to-face that is a whole new level of promotion and networking. As a bonus, you’re sure to run into tons of other people doing the same thing, which means a million opportunities for collaboration.
But what I want to say to you, number one is this: manage your expectations. It is the best thing you can do for yourself and your clients.
